Quotation and Excerpt Policy
For permission to quote or excerpt from any Scepter Publishers title, please review the following guidelines.
Permission Required
Written permission is required in any of the following cases:
· The excerpt will appear in a book, article, or other work intended for publication or sale
· The quoted material exceeds 250 words
To request permission, contact us at rights@scepterpublishers.org. Please include the title and author of the Scepter work being quoted, the relevant page numbers, and the title, author, and publisher of the work in which the excerpt will appear.
Limited Use Without Written Permission
Brief excerpts of fewer than 250 words may be reproduced without prior written permission if:
· The use is for private, non-commercial purposes
· The material will not be offered for sale or distributed publicly
All such uses must include the following acknowledgment:
Excerpt(s) from [Title] by [Author]. Copyright [Year] Scepter Publishers Inc. (scepterpublishers.org). Used with permission from the publisher.
Foreign Language Rights
Many titles are available for translation to a foreign language. Please contact us at rights@scepterpublishers.org if you would like to sublicense foreign rights.
